Deepening Our Understanding, Expanding Our Worldview

Systems, Social Justice & Change

Our systems and processes are great reflections of the state of our current beliefs, values and the state of our heart, as well as, level of our integrity and truthfulness. They also reflect just how we view and act in relationship to personal and civil/human rights.

Just as there is an inner and outer reality in individuals, there is also an inner and outer reality that exists in systems (including social and spiritual organizations). Marketing of products or even a people in political and spiritual arenas create outer images that are not always in alignment with the inner. How do we discern these days between what is "real" and what is illusion? What is the dance we must partake in to remain in flow and ambiguity, shedding those things that close the heart, keep us in duality, and move us further from being fully embodied, and in a state of participatory consciousness?

Paradigms exist, or if you will, a set of parameters, a culture, that includes the rules, procedures and behaviors expected within each system that will determine whether or not you will succeed, flourish, or even survive when working in, or coming into contact with any given system as an employee/client/patient/student, etc. In the articles contained within, we will seek to shed light on these paradigms of modernity.

Earth, Sustainability & Our Environment

Man is whole when he is in tune with the wind, the stars, and the hills....Being in tune with the universe is the entire secret.

—-Former U.S. Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas

The Earth, or Spaceship Earth, is home to some 6.6 billion human inhabitants not including the multitude of other living things sharing the planet with us. She was known to the ancients as a living, conscious being that embodied the creative, natural beauty of the divine hand. In more recent times our science has caught up with the ancients, and re-discovered the interconnectedness and the intricate complexity of all things. Wholeness once again came forth from the fragmentation inherent in science since the days of Descartes, and the Gaia "theory" re-united what had been torn asunder.

The life force of Gaia and our own life force are inextricably tied to one another. Her destiny and fate is also our destiny and fate. How do we become individually and collectively conscious so that we come to understand that what we do, and how we do it, does indeed determine the welfare of All? Join us on a journey of wisdom into the true nature of Gaia, humanity and the natural world. Learn how our individual and collective thoughts, beliefs and actions can assist in the restoration of sustainability and deep harmony. Become a Gardener of the Heart™.

The Pattern of the Universe

As you peruse this site feel the divine heart and the wisdom that emanates from it. It is in feeling, not thinking that we come to deeply "know". This is quite contrary to all we are taught.

Divine wisdom (feeling-- not learning or knowing a particular spiritual teaching) can be used in every aspect of our lives because it is inherent in every aspect of our lives. There is nothing, and no-one that it does not touch even though we may be unaware of it. In this respect it is not unlike an electrical current. We know that it is there because the light works when we turn it on, our refrigerator keeps our food cool, and our stereo plays music all without us thinking much about it until it doesn't work.

The Universe also functions from an amazing current of "energy" that flows through it and is fundamental to all things. It results as something that is beyond us. We didn't turn it on, and we can't turn it off but we can have some effect on aspects of it, and it certainly has an effect on us. When we are in alignment with the laws of nature, and this beautiful flowing energy, our lives have more joy, more natural harmony and love beyond anything we can even dream of. We have within us the ability to tap into this power because our body already contains it. It emanates from our heart. Our heart holds the creative power, the creative ecstasy of the universe within it as does every cell of our being. Through the power of our heart---the power of LOVE-- we find we can heal ourselves, our systems and our planet and bring about the next age of whole, peaceful and ecstatic, joyful living.

Sometimes when I think about the beauty of creation I think about a handmade quilt or afghan. Many people have been blessed with the gift of a stitched quilt, or a knitted or crocheted afghan. For those who have done hand-work you will understand that the universe is not unlike a quilt, or pieces of fabric or fibers that have been lovingly stitched, woven, knitted or crocheted together. There is a pattern for the quilt or afghan whether it be floral, diamonds, patchwork, etc. There is also a pattern to the universe. The pattern of the universe remains immutable and utterly astonishing in its design. We seek through many ways such as religion, science, mathematics, etc to understand God's grand design.

Each and every day throughout our lives we create pieces for our own quilt, and over a lifetime it is stitched together to create the quilt that becomes but a small reflection of our own life. The total beauty of that amazing quilt we cannot completely see. Even with the creation of all our systems and structures such as religious & spiritual communities, science, government, legal, business, medical/health, educational, etc and their accompanying beliefs, all the thoughts and theories that we propose in our attempt to explain and understand the vastness and awesome nature of God and the Universe, that Divine nature can only be seen through and by the Heart. The Heart, our sacred heart, once healed within its depths is the key to unlocking the divine state of compassion, wisdom, peace and love within us---it is an ecstasy beyond all knowing--a gift of the divine spirit. This is the way of the Heart.

Abundant Blessings and Joy to All!
